I'm not a geek at all, but I was having a similar problem.  Now I know!

Tell me something?  I'm a very heavy email user.  People sent me all sorts of attachments and photos.  How long did it take you to accumulate 2-3 GBs as you say in your blog?

I'm currently using 768 MB.  My laptop is only 2 years old but now I'm adding multiple online profiles, and things are getting messier... if i lose my laptop I'm dead!!
